i need to know if there is a fuel pump reset on my 1998 trans am ?
i ran out of gas and can not get it to restart.
HELP!!!!

Likely just that the fuel rail has lost PSI and volume. Try cycling the key off to on about 5 times, leaving it on for about 3-4 seconds each time, but NOT cranking the engine. Then try staring it. Most fuel pumps prime with ignition on for about 2 seconds...if you try to prime it, the fuel volume and pressure will replenish itself all the way up to the rail....and car should start.
