Both the 260hp and 280hp motor used the same head. 1.92/1.66 valves and 68cc.

Hey Jay, While you are on the topic of this engine. Do you know if these two engines used the same camshaft also? Thanks, Rick

Poncho_Villa, I believe they used the same cam.

Thanks John, I was just a bit curious as to the difference between a 326 HO and a 326 with a 2 barrel carb. Obviously the induction, but thought maybe the HO would breath better with more lobe lift and duration from a factory cam. Do you know if the HO came with duel exhaust? Rick.

Hmmm, I though the HO engine used a little more camshaft too. At least mine will when it goes back together!!!
