what body, drivetrain parts are interchangable on a 4 dr tempest with a 2 dr car? I just picked up a rustfree 4dr tempest alcohol,tobaco,and firearms chase car with a 421HO that I might part out, not sure yet. Don't get it for a couple more weeks.

front clip, interior dash, steering column, drivetrain, bumpers, suspension, tail lights, Not much of the major body panels from the doors back, though.

The only difference that might be found between the two-door frame and the four-door frame is a variation in body mount pad placement. If the pads correspond between the two, they are interchangeable because they are constructed identically in all other aspects.

Have you decided if you are going to part out the 4 door? I am looking for a rust free rear window panel. Mine has small rust spots and would like to replace with one of better quality if possible!

This car sounds like it may be worth more saving than parting out. I have a wife and three kids, and the idea of something the whole family can ride in without being jamed together is a welcome idea. I, looked for a nice wagon for a while but gave up. Of course the car would still have to me made to go fast and drive nice.
 Besides, an old ATF car has a history maybe. Good day. < Mike >
