Does anybody know the difference in the first digits of the data plate. I have one with a "78" and another with "ST78". Both are 78 T/As. The "78" car is from CA and appears as a base T/A model. The "ST78" is from OH and has the Hurst T-tops with auto TH350 trans. Thanks

Both stand for the year 1978, just the difference in how Norwood OH and Van Nuys CA stamped the data plates.

Hope this helps.
