I have a 70 Lemans. I want to upgrade the fuel line to 1/2in. Does anyone make a 1/2in. pick-up that fits into a stock gas tank?

Max, I also have 70 LeMans. Going to 1/2 seams pointless because there is still 8inches of 3/8 pickup tube in the tank.You can pull only as much gas as a 3/8 tube will allow. The pickup tube is connected to the main fuel line, which is also 3/8, by a rubber gas line.The stock fuel pump also takes a 3/8 line. Are you building a faster motor that requires more fuel?A good working stock fuel pump will supply you with plenty of gas.

you can drill out the factory pickup and resolder 1/2" line into your origional unit. mike

I have a 72 Lemans and installed a sump in the stock fuel tank and as electric fuel pump and use 1/2" line all the way to the fuel pressure reg. It works great!

Thanks everyone for your input. I ended up drilling out the 3/8 line out of the stock and welding in a 1/2in. line.
