Can any one tell me if this is a after market spoiler or original? My friend is re-painting his 72, so he wants to sell this spoiler off that car. He wants the description to be right. He was told if it has a hole under it ,that would make it original?? Also it might be for 1969's??
thanks scott |

Scott,
You've got a 69 spoiler there. It's hard to tell from the pic but it looks like an oem part. You shouldn't have to much trouble finding a buyer for it! Steve |

Are there any numbers engraved underneath it? I bought a very nice repop fro the Parts Place in Chicago, and it has a hole in the bottom so that's not necessarily the sign of an OEM. My repop has engraved stock numbers on the bottom, and I'm not aware if the originals did or not.

That appears to be an oem 69 spoiler. All the repo's I've seen do not have the studs in the base supports. And as Steve has said, that item will sell fast.

If fyrebird68 doesn't take it, I would be interested as well for my 69 convertible. Send me a PM at [email protected] with your price + shipping.
