I JUST COMPLETED THE SAME SWAP ON MY 62 G-P. I USED A SHORT TAIL TH 400 AND HAD TO RELOCATE THE CROSS MEMBER PLUS LENGTHEN THE DRIVESHAFT.ALSO MINOR FLOORPAN MODS USING A BFH. A VERY EASY JOB.

Bolts right in.
However, The stock Roto Hydromatic will last bout 5 min behind it. Best to also swap in a TH400 or the Bonnieville Hydro. Or find a Stick setup for your car.

It's been several years but I remember it as noted by wolfs63. No big deal!

I just made the same change in my 62 Catalina. Use the 389 mounts-it will bolt right up. Go to NAPA and buy mounts. They are about $10.00 a mount. You don't want to use 43 year old mounts. The crossmember will take some creative thinking. Bill
