Hello, just wanted to know if there is much of a demand for complete carb to pan 64 cat 421's that have been in cars stored inside for years? Not sure if they will run, but oil and other things look dirty but free of water. Matching heads and carbs are correct for the applacation 64 GP cars. I can get them real decent but room is a problem right now but if I can make some money on them I would buy and sell them. But, have to consider their value against my time and other things. So, I thought I would see if these are easy to get and go for the same as the 400, 455 bolcks? Or is there something special about them. Cars are kind of neat and one would not be a hard restoration. The other would need to much though. Thanks for any honest information you may feel like posting. Good day friends.

block and cranks are the only REAL parts. The heads, unless 716s,are about worthless along with the intake unless tripower.IMO,Tom

two (2) 64 GP's. Also there is one 62 GP with a 389 I believe? 67 Cat Wagon with a 400 2bbl carb and #061 heads, painted Ford blue of all things. In fact, I pulled the front grill and light parts from the car for a friend. Talking about the Wagon which is not worth even trying to restore unless new floor pans and rear tail gate is easy and cheap.

You would make out better by selling the cars as projects! I think 421 GP's are pretty rare these days!!!! You might want to test the E-Bay waters on one of them. Dave K.

I would like to have one of those 64 421 engines if it has the #9770716 heads on it, which they both should.

I am looking for a set of good used standard 421 pistons. If you get these engines and take them apart to sell the components I'd like 1st crack at a set of pistons. I'll take the rods too if necessary but don't need them.
