Hi all,
Something I am wondering about is how rearend gear ratio affects operating temps. My 67 has factory 4.33 and has been running about 210 on highway at around 60mph. RPM at this speed is about 3,000 from a 4 speed. With all other things the same (radiator, pump, etc.) I would think the higher RPMS turned by low gears would cause higher temps. I like so many have been considering an aluminum radiator and am wondering how much it would help.

of course, higher engine rpms, means more heat, higher fuel consumption, more power, etc. 210 at 60 is good.

I used the RR in my GTO. Direct fit, no cutting, no heat issue. In fact my car runs so cool that I wonder if it's too cool
