I was painting my differential cover today, and I was looking at the traction bar(s). It's a 67 bird so I guess they are stock.
I only have one traction bar on the passenger side. The traction bar on the drivers side is MISSING. Is this bad?? Will I have to buy another one? Or can I just remove the one on the passenger side. Heres the drivers side with the traction bar there: http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/7/web/20470...9/2047841_2_full.jpg Heres the passenger side with the traction bar missing: http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/7/web/20470...9/2047841_3_full.jpg

DAMN!!! Someone stole your traction bar??? Just kidding, that's normal. I think the 326 cars came with the single traction bar. Mine had one and it was originally a 326.

haha. Yes the car was originally a 326 car, but it now has a 400. Would I need the other traction bar?

Depends on whether or not you're experiencing wheel hop or other traction issues.
