hey, I have a 77 pontiac 400. Im torquein the crank bolt, the book says 160 ft/pounds. Is it really that much?? Please help THank you

and if your torque wrench only goes to 150 ft lbs, get another torque wrench.

Usually mine you can feel a little more than it reads.Usually you have to have a flywheel holding tool or wedge in the bolts on ther crank.
