Does anybody know the correct thickness of what the bushings are supposed to be? My old ones are in pretty tough shape and measure between 3/4" and 1". I am making a new set and would like to know what the correct thickness should be. Thanks!

Dean,

I just measured the ones off my '73 and they are 1-1/8 thick overall. The rubber portion is about 15/16", and the metal molded-in top washer sticks up above that. Hope this helps.

PS: If your looking to buy a used set I'd consider selling mine...

There is something about a high compression Pontiac motor... The way it rattles your neighbors windows!

I believe there was an article in HPP on how to make your own. Personally, buy them from PY. http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...1&m=1366025832
