Just thought of another one...since I will be using '65 heads and a '66 intake, which intake gaskets do I need? '65 and '66 are the same (d-port), correct?
Will PY's aftermarket valley pan ($35) work? Since it has no PCV hookup, I know I need a breather on each valve cover. But what do I do about the PCV lines on the tripower? And while I am at it, is there any reason that I cannot get a '66 tripwer aluminum manifold powdercoated in the correct color? I hate the look of burned paint on the crossovers.

'65 and '66 intake gaskets should be the same. The D-port designation relates to the exhaust, but those are also the same.
The attached picture shows the stock routing for the PCV lines. There are two connections on the manifold. |

Man, they put the word "tri-power" on it and the price at least triples! You might be able to pick up complete used engines for that kind of money. They forget to mention that the valley cover was never unique to a tri-power engine.

Would anyone's opinion on jetting change if I went back to a stock '65 tripower, instead of going with PY's aftermarket '66 setup? I think that will help the value of the car in the long run.

I would start with the same jets, regardless of being a '65 or '66 center carb.
