Steve, thank you very much for the great information. The first thing I'm going to do is order the stuff I need from Eastwood, and get a pan and brackets. I guess my only concern really is making a good weld. I bought a new MillerMatic ® 185, but have never used it yet. However, because this is the only daily driver Pontiac I own (the others stay dry) and the only one I have done most of my own work on I don't mind using it as a learning aid. If I mess it up I'll just have to keep going until I get it right. Or, until I destroy the whole car. In which case I will really taken it in the shorts. Thanks again, and I will get busy next week ordering my parts. Good day friend.
