The dash insert on my 70 needs to be rechromed. Who does this work?

Try the services section of Hemmings Motor News or try PY Forums Member Daryl Roach of Performance Restorations. He offers this service. He gets your dash chromed and also paints it. Re-chroming (vacuum metalizing) these dashes is becoming more and more difficult. This process is not well suited for plastic that is 30 years old. Therefore the dashes are hard to prep and subject to possible poor chroming. Then even when you finally have nice chrome, if your not extremely careful, you can ruin the chrome when trying to paint the dash.
