I am repainting the motor on my 67 Cat. I want to keep the stock valve covers on the 400 2v. They are painted, but not in same color as the block, they look more like ford blue! Anyone have a picture of how stock valve covers should look? Thanks

***Update***
Looking back through the posts.. found a link to a page that shows all the pontiac engine paints through the years. And there was a picture of the 67 with painted valve covers, the same color as the block. Hmm... I suspect the original owner's grandkid thought he could make grandma's Cat look cool with fomoco blue covers!

So all you guys seem to have chrome anyhow, but did anyone keep the stock look?
