are the heads #48 on a 69 bird with a 350 HO the same as #48 on a 69 ram air 400?350 HO?

Technically, yes they are identical. Supposedly the 350 HO #48's had 65 cc but I've never been able to validate that. There was a guy here in town who just parted out a 69 350 HO auto motor. I got the intake and carb but he sold the heads a week before for quite a bit. A lot more than I would have spent(upwards of $300). He still had the block but I passed on it.

I actually watched Danny Whitmore check a set they were 65cc! Oh they did vary a bit but right around that. The main story was that the 350 HO wasn't selling so they put the heads on the Judges [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif[/img]

I have #48's on my 69 400, and I went through a compression calculator that said they were 72cc. Am I stupid? Email reply would be helpful.
