Thanks for the info on where to get the belts. Now I need to get a wiring harness for An 8 TRACK player out of a 70 gto.Does anybody know where I can find one. I have both connectors from under the dash, but not the one that goes into the 8 track. If I knew the way the colored wires were supposed to be hooked up I could possibly make my own harness.

Jane,

8 track wiring goes like this:
Solid yellow goes to 12 v switched source
Yellow with black goes to 12V conn. on rear of radio
solid green goes to left channel out from radio
tan goes right channel out from radio
green black stripe goes to left speaker
black white stripe goes to right speaker
blue and light blue go to the fader control on your radio if applicable.
I have a complete 8 track harness I'll sell for $75.00. ITO

Thanks for the information. You made it sound pretty simple. With a little luck I think I will be able to wire it up. If not, I may get back to you about your harness if you still have it. Thanks again.
