i just finished breaking in a new cam summit 2801. i have good oil pressure at 20 @ idle and 60 at 3000 cold. and the temp never goes over 180. well during idle you can see a little smoke coming out of both breathers, in the valve covers and when i shut her down and look in the valve cover the is a good amount of a whitish smoke. the pcv valve is new and in the valley pan. the startup actually went smooth except fot this. any thoughts?? What am i doing wrong??

If the PCV is working properly, I'd say you have excessive blowby.

68gto,
Is your pcv connected to a working vaccum port? pull the prong out of the valley pan and put it on your hand, it should suck to your skin, if its not sucking in, then you are not hooked up to a working vaccum port, which will cause it to not work, and smoke to poor from the breathers.
