Just pulled my engine apart, carbon hell. The combustion chambers are black. The pistons are caked. The one thing i'm wondering about is the pistons. They have double reliefs. What I mean by double relief is the pistons have two reliefs for the intake and exhaust. I'm used to the old, (60's- 70) pistons that have a single relief, flat top, or domed. What is with the double relief? It's an early 75 engine,(late 74) 230 hp, 98cc heads, 2.11/1.66 valves. How big of a cam can I safely go with. It has a 4sp and headers already. Also what aluminum intake will fit with the shaker hood.
