Help! We just bought a beautiful 91 GTA for our son. Our mechanic checked it out and felt it was sound. The problem is that it runs rich and surges while driving. No engine lights come on and when doing a computer check, no codes come up.
I know the oil pressure regulator has been replaces and a few other things to try to fix the problem. Has anyone had this problem and if so, how did you fix it?

3rd gens have a lot of electronical gremlins. Is it throwing any SES lights or codes? A good place to start out is http://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/ . They are all 3rd gen oriented and will probably be able to help you out better/faster.
