Once convertered to screw-in rocker studs and outfitted with the 2.11/1.77 valves the #15 head will make an excellent street performance head, pretty much equivalent to the popular #16 head.
One advantage is when going to bigger valves you will be using virgin metal to cut the new seats. No sunken valves from numerous valve jobs like is common on some of the more used-up big-valve heads. Even in completely stock form they are a good street head. The press-in rocker studs will somewhat limit the cam lift and spring pressure you can use however.

I recently flowed both a '68 #15 and '70 #15 and found them to be the same. At low lift (up to about .300" lift), both flowed comparably to a 2.11" head on the intake side but from about .400" lift and up, they gave up about 15-20 cfm. Basically, they flow about 190 cfm at .500-.550" lift where 2.11" d-ports typically flow closer to 205-210 at the same lift points.
They're not a bad head, especially if you are not looking for max performance. |

I have them on my 400. Put a Summit 2801 cam/lifters in there and you will not be disappointed. I'm very surprised how well it performs.
