I ran Goodyear Eagle GT's on my 83 Camaro, 215/65/15 (stock size for Z28's in 83). Excellent grip, good ride. The BFG's I ran on my 442 were junk- only looked good; really crappy in the rain, and not much better traction in the dry.

I run Diamond Back redline tires, 225/70/14 the absolute only way to go in my book...ten times better than any Coker out there. I drive my car 3-4 times a week and the tires have held up against anything I have thrown against them.--Ron

For Redlines i have to agree with 70machone.
The Coker Redlines look bad, the side wall is filled with seams looks like the tires are made out of a puzzle.
Diamondback make the best looking Redwall tires.
Take a look around at your next show you will see what i mean.
I,m running the Coker repo Firestone wide ovals right now, they handle/ride fine... But i know it would be better with some high tech tires but you can,t beat the look.
However i don,t think the rears will "DryRot" before i have too replace them

Diamondback redlines

Anyone know the difference between the different styles of the Diamondback tires or have a preference? Looking at 215/70/R15's for Rally II's on 67 LeMans Convertible -
a) is this the right tire size?
b) which kind of Diamondback radial (they have several in the line) do people like?

I run 255/60/15 Yokohama Avid STs on my 78 TA. I purchased these from Summit...cost was $60...plus $5 shipping/tire...a great tire for a great price. I have previously run 255/60/15 BFG Comp TAs and liked these tires, though they were pricey. My local tire dealer could not get BFG Comp TAs in 255/60/15, as BFG supposed no longer makes the Comp TA in this size (though, I have read they can? be available from time to time??). I also read the regular BFG Radial TA in a 255/60/15 is getting a bit tough to find.
