One more thing.
Don't go trying to change the rules, time or place.

Nothing like a bunch of Pontiac People at the starting line watching you get your A$$ whiped by a Stock Suspension Drag Radial car.

_2002_ I ran a 9.33........ on the brakes in the Q-16 Bracket racing program.at 130 mph. _On BFG Radials!!!!!! _ And my 1/8th mile was .23 tenths faster then the round before when I ran a 9.30 flat. And you know how Nitrous runs faster.....Out the back door.

You do the math.

And that was with a factory 455 block with 89 cc E-heads flowing 310 cfm.
You know a Real Street Car.

Keep talking. Your math is as bad as your Grammer skills.

I totally agree thats all you had was a 9.33 as for on the brakes we always shoulda gone faster on every pass fact is you were a 9 second bird in 2002, 2003, and 2004 oh except for one pass but as you told langer once dont count gotta love it when the clocks are off once in a while
2005 Maybe you can make the 8s, but I wont be betting on it
Dont forget old man Im still new it this youve got how manny years40 something? Im on my 3rd year with my own car and I started my first year in the 8s, youve got 40some years of trying to get there, what makes you think this year will be any different? talk about a hands in your lap dream

Let me see if I am reading this right. Is Dude running Ray on street drag radials?

I was thinking slick to slick. Maybe IF Dude can beat Ray on street drag radials, that would be saying something.

the bfg thing is old. they are running high 7 s low 8s all day long on those now.

they got to the high 6s with a 10.5w.

they are running high 7s low 8s with stock suspension it can be done.

So Ray, dude is saying he should be low 8s high 7s. Ray will you need a plate to catch him???

And could i get in if my "stock suspension" 9 or 10.5 slick car is ready lol

I agree 100% Crossbreed, but those same cars running radials would be much faster without the retard boxes they run to launch, if they could hook.

Nuff of this once a year (winter) smack talk, do VMP in the spring and then Norwalk in the summer for a rematch...double your pleasure, double your fun. Speaking of double...VMP would then be the double whammy with Brian/Jeff and Ken/Ray going heads up, then we'll see who really is the KING OF SMACK

"the bfg thing is old. they are running high 7 s low 8s all day long on those now."

Some have put those numbers up, but not "all day long" those guys doing that are using the m/t's.

The only car that I'm aware of that can swap from slicks to drag radials and not slow down a significant amount is BB&T with their 95 mustang, he lost .05 from the switch but ran more mph. Also all the fast guys are using the 315 tire that's like a 30x12 slick.

just how much of the make up off todays radial tire, are like that of a street tire? nothing todays drag radial are a hibread slick with some tread on it but by calling it a radial it gets the crowd and public publicity that drag racing needs, it is tire technology at its best! the new M/T drag radials currently are laying down better 60s and Ets than any brand slick of a similar dimension.
the new M/T radial could be on my car this spring as well if it continues to perform as it is.

The bfg's are very similar to a street tire compared to the m/ts. Hoosier has a tire out that would match the m/ts but they don't come in heights heigher than 26".

Ray,

I'd love to take my car to the NSCA race but I don't know if I'll have everything together in time, I'm thinking about going to watch but I'm not sure yet I'll have to see how things are going in school.

lance did you ever find some gears??????

Ray... did you start your X-mas lay-away fund yet for Norwalk?

I got your, old man......... LOL.

You brought up the 202 Norwalk ET's. Like I said. 9.30's on the brakes Hard @130.
With BFG's and Stok Suspension. And you had

10.5 W's and a Fogger

and didn't run as fast that weekend. I was on a plate system.
Why if I was that slow, I'd just shoot myself and put the rest of the Pontiac comunity at ease.

Ask the Dude with the Purple Grand Prix. I couldn't find him........ even in my mirror. LOL.
