My shop foreman found a 76 TA for sale...it's been sitting for 15 years....455 motor, 26K original miles. Have not seen car yet...supposed to be in very good shape. Anyone have an idea of it's value?? The guy is ASKING $5500. I think it's a bit high. Thanks!!

69 LeGTO- 350/350 soon to be 400/350!

Without additional information and/or pictures it would be hard to judge. But based on your description of "455 motor, 26 original miles and very good shape," I'd say BUT THAT CAR! Hell, it could be worth much more than that if it is in good running and cosmetic condition. Post some pictures if you buy it.... if not let me know where it is !

PS- I'll probably move this topic to the 74-76 T/A tech section in about a day. Your post should get a little more attention there and won't get burried as quick.

I wonder how much my 79 will be worth?
400 3:08 posi Rear disks Rust free?
New engine, Exhaust, tires, Everything works, Replacing the nose soon. (Have one waiting)

Usually I'm found working on my Pontiac. If you want to find me Look for the white picket fence and all the old Pontiacs parked outside. And the half dissembled engine sprawled all over the driveway!

Hmmm, a 76 455 (means a 4 speed) and with that low miles, if its in good body condition I'd say thats an OK price from what I've seen for sale.
Its a deal if its an S/E.

$5500 for an all original 455 TA is a steal.
