any one interested in a group purchase on a custom bent molly cage for a 2nd gen TA? cost would probably start at 500 depending on how many points you need. we are getting ready to put 2 in here then take them to a shop to have tig welded. the shop is qouting 4-500 to weld up the entire car , including frame connectors, motormounts and stuff

a general 12 pint cage is going to cost you 190.00 per point to have it done, doing it your self you would be around 1,000.00

we are demensining my cage to have these bent from, anyone who has seen it knows how tightly it fits the car, less than an inch from the dash, and less than 1/4 " from the winshild
anyone interested let me know we would hope to put the order in within 1-2 weeks

the same shop might do a group purchase on a 9" rearend kit as well

they already do the front nose supports like I have ill try to put some photos up

Ray, when you say starting at $500.00 is that a 6, 8, 10, or 12 point? I am wanting to do a 25.5 cage in mine. But, I would like to atleast start off with a well bent 12 point, the rest of the stuff won't be that difficult to get.

I think for the 25.5 it would be around 7-8 for all the tubes, but you would have to do the notching and fitting, but the basic 12 point would be all bent and probably the funny car cage also

How much for a 10 pt. setup? Need to know if I can get the money in time. (Being 20 and in college sucks when it comes to $$$.)

Marshall.

When can you find out for sure how much for the 25.5? The notching isn't a problem, I just need it bent. Also where would it be shipped from? Are you going to have a 25.5 made for yours?

they hafe the demiensions, so they can sell it to you but it needs to be fit to the car so you might have to customize it a little after you get it
