Are they planing on doing a dual plane? One that could match a RPM for us street racers? Theres alot more call for stop light to stop light guys. I'd pay a mint for a RPM that I could get under my Formula hood with an air cleener with out cutting a hole beteen my scoops.

You don't always need a dual plane manifold for low end power. Just ask some of the guys running Street Dominators and Doug Nash manifold.

On a street 455 w/ 9.25:1 we just built for project Greenbird we have over 500 ft lbs of torque from 2900 to 5100 and that is with a Holley Street Dominator.

I just found on Jegs site that Demon is now making a complete tri-power set-up for small block chevy. Their two barrels are each 250cfm and the intake is an updated design. Now we need Barry to make one for us.

Dave makes a good point about the single plane intakes...
At 3500 rpm my Modified Holly Street Dominator intake makes 15 pounds less torque on the dyno than my modified Performer RPM intake. By 4500 rpm they make the same.
Of interest, my Victor intake makes only 4 ft.lbs. less torque than the Performer RPM intake at 3500 rpm but will produce a easy 20 more hp than the RPM.

Met with the manufacturer today. Things are moving along and it looks to be "price friendly" for us Pontiyakers.

We are moving ahead with the prototype. The intake will have a dual pattern for both 4150 and Q-jets.

We are thinking about having a contest to name the intake. Any Indian oriented names come to mind?

Pads will be cast in so that all one will have to do is machine the holes and install injuectors and fuel rails.

This manifold sounds like it may be just what I'm looking for. Can't wait for some results!

The undertaking is being funded by Pacific Performance Racing. The intake will be cast in a state-of-the-art foundry by a highly regarded company currently serving the performance aftermarket with many other intake designs.

A side from that, as they saying goes..."I'd have to kill you."
