I'm working on my totally original 67 GTO to be running for spring. It needs total resto but it's all there.I'm sure there is someone around here with more info! Sports coupe(24207) or HDTP(24217)?

Sports coupe would be 1 of 384
HDTP would be 1of 2,233

Scott, it would be hard to be either a hardtop or a Sports coupe if it has a convertible top!

Hey guys I have a question. Were there any '67 GTO's with bench seats?

Hello local guy. There are about a half dozen or so of us in a 20 min. drive. if you need a hand with anything yell. Mike Nixon had a party last year for the ohio indiana members. It was a good time. When we left he said he would do it again this year at his place. I'm sure He'll post it well in advance this year. Met some nice folks there last year.

Ya, I have one. Wish it had buckets and a Hurst Dual Gate though.

I wasn't sure. I have one, but I hadn't sent off to PHS to check. I pulled it out of a wrecking yard and that was about the only thing left. I have another one with a dual gate and I'm thinking of building it up. The traffic has taken the fun out of the 4 speed.

My '67 also has a split back front bench (power) and a column shift. I'm completly restoring it, but I look forward to driving the auto. Enjoy the restoration process, I'm loving it.

I thought I read in Hot ROd that there were only 753 from the factory. I wasn't sure if that was correct or just BS.

I have read that 753? bench-seat '67 GTO figure in the past. Mine had a bench and 4-speed in the beginning, but all gone now. Anybody know where there might be a '67 bench floating around loose? Might be nice to have.

We have a Parchment split bench with fold down armrest going into a '67 tempest we're playing with, but may go to racing seats, as I can't find rear seats in parchment and don't care to sink alot of money into this one. Not a resto, just a 455 4-speed toy for burn-outs and cruising. May sell it, but don't care to ship it. Just a thought. Ron
