I guess before I start a lot of smac on here i better fess up I probably wont make Norwalk this year it conflicts with two other class races for points but if I can I will.

then again I might have a contingency plan theres a stock suspension car being built in my garage now, (not for me) and if the driver can handle the learning curve, he might be running my spare at Norwalk to make sure Im represented in in some way for 2005 he has a nice new Ia2 here now, but the rest is on the way

LOL!

Well, I consider Ken, Karen and Danne as good friends. If Ken has to call me for some sponsor money to race this season, and if I have it, he's got it free and clear, but he will have to put a company logo on the car so I can write it off. I just have to hope 2005 is a good year so I don't end up living in a cardboard box.

Thanks Tom, I wasn't around when Marty was running well. Like I said Jeff had been the fastest Pontiac to race (not just show and tell) from the first tri-power at Norwalk and has all the Fastest Pontiac at Tri-power trophies until they decided to end the trophy give away. The way I understand it he was the fastest Pontiac Racer when I rolled in 1997 and while working together through 2001 no-one including Marty P and David B out ran the digger (even show and tell) while at the same track, Norwalk, Chicago, Maple Grove. I was there for all of the 97 to '01 domination.

Rob it seams as if someone always has a copy of the q-16 qaulifying ladders, it would be neat to have a thread withonly the ladders in it maybe everyone that has one can fax them to you or ken to post

The Norwalk ladder is nice, but I know that there has to be other cars in the country that didn't make Norwalk that could make the top 20 in 2003/2004 ?????

'Dude...speaking of Norwalk Q-16 ladders, who won your contest last year for the Q-16 bump? It was down to either me or OMT and I don't think either one of us found out (I didn't).

Ray...it's S-M-A-C-K...SMACK !!!

We're not going to see you write "SMACED" on Ken's golf cart again this year, are we?

Actually I don't have the Q-16 Ladders or Qualifying lists, just painstakinly typed them here every year!

What we could wrangle away from the tower should be at KRE, Maybe Jeff will read this and scan them to their website.

I am not a regular poster but I wanted to add this to the fastest Pontiac list. My best friend here in Boise Idaho,Rod Page has a rear engine dragster, Pontiac powered of course, that needs to be on the list. His best run in 2004 was a 7.637et at 177.97 MPH on Sept 10 2004. Density altitude was 1132, humidity 54%,temp 71 deg, bar 29.95. The dragster is a mono shock soft tail. Engine is a 526 cubic inch IA1, wide port e heads, one dominator on a Victor manifold, The car and engine made over 160 passes with Rods son Sean driving the Pontiac to track champion for 2004, with no breaksge or failures. Our normal density altitude here in Boise at Firebird raceway is around 4500 feet where the car runs 7.80's at 173. Rod has been building my engines for over 20 years our friendship starting because of our love of all things Pontiac.
My burning question what is the quickest single four barrel naturally aspirated Pontiac I think Rod might be it?????????
thanks, Glenn

Jim Brusse is my son. Do I dare ask what did he do now? Or do you just like the "Death by Pontiac" T-shirts ?
