Where can I find a decent fitting cover for my Catalina? I see them on ebay all the time but am a little sketchy on how good they really are. Any info would be great.

The one I bought from ebay for my BMW for $39.95 was of "good" quality, considering the low price I paid for it. But, although it was marketed specifically for the model, supposedly, I found when I got it that it was really a "generic" type, but it did fit well, so I think all they do is have 8 or 10 different sizes and depending on the car model, they send one for that size car.
The only way you're going to get one custom fitted to your car (IMHO) is to fork over a couple of hundred dollars to one of the parts companies (e.g. PY, etc)

I would suggest california car cover, I've bought several and they all fit like gloves (Camaro, Firebird, GTO, Miata). Plus they did their job well...several different types to choose from...but, they do cost more than $39.95...I think the cheapest is around $139 but I don't know if its specs will meet your needs also a big car like that is bound to be more costly.

The coolest car cover I have seen is one that you drive onto a mat and zip your car into a clear plastic and a fan blows it up and keeps it inflated. The air is contantly changing and you get no moisture, rust, mildew etc. It forms a bubble aroung the car and so nothing can touch and damage it. It is clear so I can still see your car. A filter keeps the dust out so it is clean when you are ready.

If your car will see any outside storage look for a cover that has the "Block-It" tag, which protects against snow, rain, and uv rays. Just purchased one from Costco for $37.95 that fits the GTO nicely.

Go to jcwhitney.com - they'll have any cover you want - from cheapo to high quality custom made - and they are a LOT less expensive than California Car Cover and the others.

I'm a California Car Covers guy myself - The way I figure it, my car is insured for almost $40K, so a few hundred bucks for a great cover is a small price to pay.

While I hate to overly promote them because I think they are too expensive, California Car Cover has the best tailor made covers out there. I have used them for over 15 years and still use my orginal. I use them inside my garage but they also have sevaral models for outdoor use.

Yes California Covers are the best. The outside type do wear out in 4-5 years unless you use one of the blue or gray throw away tarps on top. I paid $179 for my 1986 2+2 and it fit perfectly. They sometimes shrink if used alone, and wear thin in some areas.

Go to Target and get the Car and Driver brand car cover.

I agree with the comments reagarding California Car Cover. They are not the cheapest, but the quality is great and they have a number of different covers to choose from (indoor and outdoor). Plus you can get customized stitching if you want ...
