I ordered mine in early March. Money cleared right away. Get a call every month telling me it will be another 3 weeks. Now they are due in at the end of this month. Anybody else in the situation?

depends on what harness and who the supplier is. You can always cancel after you check with other vendors to see what their delivery time is.

I ordered it straight through PY. Heard they sold a good quality product at a decent price. I dont mind waiting, just getting anxious though.

Try M&H fabricators...I believe that is who PY uses for their harnesses. Quality product....they will make anything you need! Call our host for info.

I think they are the ones who my harness is being ordered from. Somewhere in California?

I just got my engine harness from M$H - took forever. When I inquired they said they were "busy". M&H is who PY uses. Also, when the harness came it was nice quality but zero schematic or instructions were included. Next time I'll order from Painless Wiring - they are faster and include all instructions.

Any time you do a harness job, or any re-wiring for that matter, it is a good idea to clearly identify and label the old harness or wires prior to installation of new ones....that way you have a reference if the new harness didn't come with a schematic. M&H used all the same factory wire colors for my engine harness, so it was relatively easy to replace. A good multimeter can help you make heads or tails of a rewire also...

Check the forum history, I just went thru the same thing 2 months ago...

I called M & H and they told me it would be 3 months also... I called PY and they had a kit laying around, I guess I was lucky. I still have a extra wire on the set, that I don't know what it went to...maybe the horn I thought, But It is laying there loose and everything works so... Short wire near the top, plastic clip on the end. I agree, direction's would have been nice, for the price....

I ordered a dash harness from M&H. They said they were a little behind and it would take 3 to 4 weeks to send it. Ten days after I ordered it, it came in the mail. They make a great product, exactly like the original.
