I'm installing disc brakes all the way around. I would like to paint the parts before installing and would like any suggestions about quality/type/color of primer/paint. The booster is annodized gold color. Should this be left unpainted? Should the master cylinder be painted? Most engine photos show the these items left unpainted.

I would leave the gold cad plating on the booster (which is correct) and I would do a nice coating of high-temp cast-iron gray on the master. I'm pretty sure that's correct, and this is the only good time you'll have to shoot it.
