how do I change the cam bearings? i took them all out except the back one, is there any tool i could use so i dont have to knock that plug out. also in the new sealed power set i have there are three of one kind (tapered on one side) and two others(tapered on both sides). is there any tricks, or tools to take them out or install them. i have the engine on the stand but i dont want to take the crank and stuff out.

You did what you have to do to get at the back bearing. When I did an "in the car" repair I just left the last bearing in.

I bought mine off of ebay. I believe it was only about $70. Do a search for "pontiac cam bearing" and you should find if there are any for sale. If that comes up empty, I could find the # of the company for you, (there are located in Illinois).
