Yeah.
This is weird, I let it run, and if i mash the gas from a dead stop, if the pop doesnt come from under the hood (carb) it comes from the rear exhaust and then the car dies... what is it? |

I'm thinking a weak ignition or carb problems like a bad accelerator pump.

Sounds like your getting some back firing, check your plugs, distributer cap/rotor and timing.
