I put a 200-4r into my 79 Tenth Anniversary Trans Am, it wasn't shifting hard so I out in a shift kit. I helped but I'm not getting my second gear scratch like i used to, I think it my be because the Tranny came out of a monte carlo with a 5000 shift point where can I find a new governor with a 3000 shift point. I made sure that my cable is set properly, I even pulled the pan to insure that the plunger waskicking in at the appropriate time, yet I still am not getting the desired snap in my shifts.
