Brian, your 100% right about your diner comment. I have to see things for myself too. I don't believe everything I here and see. I've heard bad things about these filters but I did not listen. Just like when I try and tell my teenager something, I guess, she's gotta see it for her self. If it is another bad filter I think I will have learned my leson even if I didn't lose the motor. I'm posting here just to say that I have first hand experience with bad filters, not here say. I'll know for sure tomorrow if the HP2 is bad. ... Eric
