does anyone know what the correct finish is for the nuts and bolts in the engine compartment of my 68 gto?? is there a book out there?? the restoration guide makes no mention of it. thanks, tom

thanks for the quick response and great info!!! there is no mention of the bolts that attach the alternator, a/c compressor etc. to the block. are they black oxide or zinc plated?? how about the bolts that hold the trunk lid to its hinges, the doors to the jambs, the hood to its hinges and the lower front valance the the radiator support? thanks for any further info you can supply. tom

don't mean to be a pain in the butt, but how about the bolts for the trim plate that covers the radiator and fan shroud?? thanks. tom

6t8- maybe an email to the GTOAA would help. I am sure they can tell you what publication to use for referance.

trunk bolts are the same color as car
