You said that the trans is still on there? the last digits of the vin should be on a 4 spd.???? Right I think i heard that..??? Ask. I think its on top. and first numbers of the vin are standard.

That's available here too IF they haven't purged the records. If the car has not been titled after a certain period of time, it's dropped off the rolls. After that, all past title history is lost. If registration is kept "active" then all past history is still available.
