Wow, what a collection !
I am not sure if mine was correct, but my 67 HT came with the same knob. What color is that 67 ? That's the ultimate garage.

The 67 is plum mist, the 66 is black and the 65 is viper red. Also, all of the cars are in "as new" condition...perfect. His bodywork man is doing my 67 conv also. I'll post a picture of it also.

Here is my 67, we just put the front end on. It is a numbers matching 67, conv with HO engine. The engine has been rebuilt with TRW forged pistons and molly rings, all new exhaust valves and everything brought back to new. The car is rust free with body and frame all perfect. We did a "frame on" resto and even replaced all of the body mounts. I replaced my TH400 (with His and Hers) with a wide ratio M20 and hurst shifter. I am keeping all of the original parts incase I ever sell and someone wants the original look. I also changed my Montreau blue with a metallic burgundy and the car will be finished off with Crager wheels.

I think the knob is 65'.
The garage is awsome!!!! I noticed the Hurst Can, I was wondering if it had the hurst's in it or that's just the can. The 67 you are doing looks great!!!! Brad

Did Hurst wheels come in those cans?

Awsome shop and cars!! Do I see spare wood wheels on the wall?? Not trying to sound mean, but sell that ElCamino and get a 64!!
The knob is not original, but a hard to find aftermarket unit from the late 60s or early 70s. I think it was a cal-custom item but have not seen one decent for a long time, great nostalgia item to have ! |

BTW
Hurst wheeks were shipped in these cans at one point but it seems that very few exist these days judging by the prices they go for these days. That is a great looking restoration you have underway! Is that Marimba red by any chance, sure looks like it from the pic. Troy |

The 66 has Hurst wheels. The tires are regular firestone P235/60R14 Firehawk indy 500 tires. About 389.00 for 5 installed. A local guy here in eastern IN comes over to your house with a machine and custom grinds the redlines and will glue on the white letters of your choice, all custom...As far as my color is concerned, my body guy said that I have to keep it a secret...
