This is a forum for helping others out.
Some guys also run businesses (ie. Cliff R, Mr. P Body, Pontiac Dude etc). These guys have offered a ton of information and help
for other forum members. Many of us have decided Cliff R, Mr. P Body, Pontiac Dude etc.
are the type of guys we would like to do business with. Then, we have guys like Pete DeFazio. It looks like Pete registered yesterday. Pete's first post was to advertise his business. As far as I can see, Pete has never posted on the site before and never helped any one of us. Is this the type of guy we want to do business with.
For me, the the answer is crystal clear.

Now I am sure you will see that many here have worked with me in the past and many will in the future.

What BURNS ME to death are folks like YOU who are either afraid of competition of any sort or plain have no manners. I certainly hope you do not speak for the community of folks here I have been told BY MANY this is a GREAT message board, it would be a shame if this is how folks are welcomed here......

I have been working on these cars for years and know them inside and out. I have a HUGE network of connections in the second gen community and could be an ASSET to many here.

So yes YESTERDAY I did join, and YES I am letting folks know there is another "dog" in town. I am not "NEW" as I have been involved in 70-81 F body for YEARS and on the web for years.

I am an honest guy, I run an A++++ honest shop, and I have worked with 1000s in the second gen community.

So in the future JUNIOR, instead of "blasting" someone becuase they are NEW, why dont you be nice enough to say HI before trying to publicly BEND them over......

Better yet, call me my friend and let me know what exactly YOU feel MY PROBLEM IS, I am easy to reach. I have the feeling you are simply "afraid" of other persons whom deal in F-body,

The last time I checked CUSTOMER SERVICE and HONESTY earned folks business. You would have us all think it is a "Union based" type thing where folks do not have the choice.

I think your web site looks great and appears to me like you're mostly into body and trim. There is certainly a place for someone with access to good body panels and such as some of these parts are getting difficult to find. The Pontiac community can always use another experienced mind for help and suggestions via the PY board and I welcome anyone willing to bring their knowledge to the table.

Only thing I can say initially say is.. if it gives a place to buy parts at a cheaper place with excellent customer service, then I don t see a problem. From his ebay auctions, everything seems above board to me... just my opinion of course.


OK Fbody do I get the free Steering wheel, hood scoop, weatherstripping and newly rebuilt SD455 now? LOL kidding folks.. thats a joke, well a joke from a freezing canadian anyways

After a solid night sleep, and speaking with some friends on this I would like to say" I am sorry" if I offended anyone by my post....

My intention was not to drop in and push my service at all costs. I wanted to introduce myself to the board here. Maybe the way I worded my original post did not reflect that clearly enough. it is hard to seperate myself from Fbodywarehouse as this is all I do is F-body 50+ hours each week every week. We as a business do much more then just "pimp out" parts, I am involved in many aspects of the f-body community and also with these cars outside of pure parts sales etc.

MFC while I did not mean to ruffle your feathers and it is obvious we did not get off on the right foot. In the future I will try and use more "tact" and I am sure you have better manners then what you portrayed.

Anyway folks I do know the 70-81 F-body inside and out and I will be glad to help members here with any information I can with thier cars, fixing them, or general info on them.

I have done business with Fbody through his ebay auctions. Very honest and knowledgeable seller. While I realize the blatent advertisement given by Fbody on his first post undoubtedly rubs some people the wrong way, I think that Fbody can be an asset to our community. Let's give Fbody the benefit of the doubt and welcome him so he can prove he can be an asset to this forum.

I have dealt with Pete several times, not just buying something but for questions I've had. He always come through with flying colors! He to me is now a friend and our conversations has become lengthly just because we enjoyed each others company. He is one of the most honest guys I've worked with. I just wish we lived closer together. Good luck Pete in 2005.

I'm also over on TAC, although not as much as what I should be. Yes his first post was for his business but hell how many people remember everyone else's first post? I can say that fbod seems to be completely honest.

And just an fyi to everyone - I did just buy some trim from him and although I have not got it yet, I have been beyond happy with the process so far.

Just scrolled through my eBay history and it looks like Pete has gotten my money several times. The last time was 2 weeks ago on a chrome hood wrap I really needed. Every time has been a good deal and promptly handled. So Pete, when do I get the repeat customer discount?

I dont think there is anything wrong with friendly competion, but at the same time you are a direct competitor of the person who pays for this forum to be here, do you offer a forum he can go advertise on?
anyone who likes this board and the help you recieve on it should remember that although the help comes from all pontiac people the cost of the Py board and servers to run it are all paid by Chris Casperson at performance years, it would be a shame to lose our board, if he closed it down due to losing business to his competitors posting here.
F boby there is nothing wrong with you posting her, but I personally think your post should be of a helpful nature, not a place to advertise your business. there are several other pontiac boards that are not your competion

I dont think you will see Paul spotts advertising on Pontiac Dudes board or vise versa performance years prices are fair and quality is good, I think everyone should remember what site we are on
