anyone have any diagrams or any way to make front end assembly any easier i am takling about fenders and the whole nose.

I'd love to know as well. I took the whole front end apart when I had the motor out. I needed to replace the rusty core support and paint whole engine compartment so I figured I might as well.... I then spent way too many hours and got so frustrated when trying to get the fenders, hood, and nose pieces lined up during re-assembly that I just gave up for the year.

Bought a 69 factory assembly manual from a guy on Ebay,cost me around 100 bucks but it was well worth it if your doing a complete restore.....

|
I found it much much easier to assemble the entire nose without the front bumper off the car but leave the bolts loose. Then with a friend you can lift and bolt the 2 "horns" to the subframe. One you have it in place you can systematically adjust and tighten.
It takes hours to get it close as there are about a zillion pieces. |
