Ray. I see 8.65 qualifying. I see you qualified 11th out of 14 cars. 3 guys slower, but ........... don't see any 8.40's you speak of posted anywhere.

First round of eliminations your were the slowest first round pass, other then the guy you beat. And a bye run. Everyone else ran faster then you qualified at.
The track was bad????

Same deal round #2. I'm confused???

And round #3 Mike went into the 7's.... and 8 flat final pass.

So esplain Lucy.

Brian with the new results this weekend I can now look at trying something again. the car carried the frontend and carried it high with the 38s in it. the hook was assum! then we put 40s in and it hooked but part of the problem was the track. now that we have the car lifting the front end, we will try to limit the traveml on the front to controll the wheelies some if we can limit the travel with out affecting the bite, there wont be a bump steer issue anymore.

Ray, this may work in the short term...but it's still a crutch.

During the off season, I'd address the problem and fix it correctly.

God, Ray...you need to fix that toe in problem. Looking at these pictures with the wheels toe'd in reminds me of a grade school picture with the dorky kid in the class that's cross-eyed sitting in the front row.

nothins ever good enough for you Dude! the track was good sat for qualifying , but we had power out of the car trying things, look at the MPH it was down 5. we tried to put some back in on sunday, but the conditions wouldnt allow. yes mike went fast as did the other non nitrous cars, but the faster nitrous cars with one exception all lost first round and blew the tires off Bill travato, Frank Messhaw, Phil lines, lipcap and Marc were all top 8 qaulifyers annd all went out first round mike and bob curan were the only two cars in the top 8 that made it past first round. now what dose that tell you when there are more slow cars in the second round than there are fast? HInes came out later in the day and ran a good number as a test pass so did travato, but after some cars went down the track it did come around but first round there was no track!
Dud I could have won the event and you would find somthing wrong
did bruce win his first year in real street?
nowonder you cant hag hour too negative about everything simple math on the time slips we showed you at norwalk shows we can go 40s with the 38s and who knows with the 42s.
brian can verify that if your too old to do the math

Jeez, tough crowd! Ray, fix that alignment problem, or bring it down here and I'll do it.
Dude, lighten up, at least he's out here tryin! lol
Seriously, I'm surprised Ray was even able to race. There is a sleeve/block issue that was not sealing and was putting alot of compression in the radiator. One qual. pass, it stood up about 3 feet and carried it out a looOOOoong way out there.
For comparrison, Bob Curran's Corvette Qualified with an [email protected]. Rays 60 foot time was quicker than Bobs. The TA launches great, it just needs more oomph on the big end.

Oh yeah, DUDE.....The skunk went 10.88 @123.5 sunday shifting at 6000 still haven't tuned on it much. It scaled 3505 lbs. without me in it.

Ray, I cant get over how fast you guys are with heavy cars! Im always amazed! Hang in there and give Dude a chance to catch up some day, dont give up on him. LOL
I'm new at this rack and pinion stuff. How do you fix that?
My car does the same thing, perfect on the ground but the higher it goes the more the tires fly apart. It only has about a 4" travel.
Must be a mushtang thang. My rack says ford all over it.

most racks come in one length the problem is "on our stock control arms" the piviot points on the rack are not the same as on our subframe. so no mater how high you mount the rack or font to back the ark of the controll arm cannot match the tie rod I need to order a custom length rack to get the arks lined up,
one reason a lot of other cars dont have the problem is they have different control arms or they are able to limit the travel

Ray, I know you didn't draw those pics. The lines are to straight. Ya must have had your Daughter do it.
Larry told me you have trouble coloring inside the lines.

Also the 'location' of the tie rod end mounting length and location is critical. The end on the spindle.

Who's gonna be the first to 8.50S!!!!!!

Or maybe someone already went 8.50s. And didn't even need 40 pills.

Ray you'll go 50s or even 40s, just get your drill out and drill the 42 pill out to a 60.

Just add more nitrous!bwahhhahah
