i talked to bruce from rock and roll engineering and he said that the V8 motor mounts that are in my 67 will accept any pontiac V8 from 1964-1975 or something along those lines. i just wanted to confirm that with some of you guys before i swap my 326 for a 455. thanks

That is correct. 1969 to 1975 blocks all have 5 bolt holes for the motor mounts and you use the ones you need. 1976-1979 blocks dont all have the 2 bolt holes for the early mounts.

THE MOUNTS THAT GO TO THE FRAME AND ENGINE ARE DIFFERENT FOR A 455! The engine and frame mounts for a 455 are specific. They are wider than the 400 and below. Use mounts for a 400 and below and they should be fine. I bought the 455 engine mounts to install in my original 400 GTO and they were too wide. Went to a 400 mount.
