Hey gang, just wanted to introduce myself & say thanks for any info ahead of time. I'm a diehard gearhead, had plenty of toys to my credit. I've been drag racing for a while now, also enjoy building hot street rides. As long as its GM, I'm into it. I've been playing with my 80Z28 for 10 years now, its got a little brother now though! Check out my webshots page if you want HERE. The Camaros running in the 12's in "street trim"- full exhaust, dot tires, just like were going to the grocery store. I plan on putting a small shot of nitrous this year to be in the 11's, but I'm pretty proud to have a decent looking truely fast all-motor car. I used to show it, and it always had a dual quad engine of some sort (usually a 327, but I did run a 350 for a while)-hence the name 2x4. Its pretty much a permanent fixture with me.

I just my dream hotrod, 1961 Tempest. Its a little rough now, but at least I know all the history of it. My grandfather bought it new in 61, it was parked in the early 70's. It still has less than 50k on it, but father time has started to get to it. It truely is a "barn fresh" car I still need to "extract" it to verify the condition of everything, but I'll get some pics as soon as I can. Everything is there, but its going to need a lot. I'm planning on going the pro-street route with it, I've been dying to build a twin turbo 4.3v6, but I feel this deserves Pontiac power. I found a pic of Les Baxter's wild pro-streeter 63 and thats my inspiration, cant wait to get going on this project.

Anyway, hello! I got lots of reading to do, but youll be sick of me asking questions here soon enough Feel free to drop me a line if your near me, I'm going to need lot of help finding parts for this one!
