Hey i have a 69 Lemans Front bumper with grill, and headlight assembly in very good shape, any ideas of what i can get for it?

They aren't worth much. They're just about givaways. However, if it's REALLY good it's worth it to someone to replace one that needs rechroming. It has to have really good chrome to make it worth while. Check to see if the chrome is getting thin anywhere or are there any little dents in it (especially the nose). If there are, it's just driver quality like most---ask 25 to 50 dollars. In otherwards, if you can see any defects, it's not all that special.

Its pretty good, thats a bummer to hear its not much though. its on my 68 GTO in all the pictures I've posted of it. Thanks though!

The 68s chrome bumpers are geting very hard to find more $$ in them.

They have to be in EXCELLENT condition to be worth more than $25.00. That means perfect chrome and virtually NO dings on the front point.
There are LOTS of them around in "good" condition, but almost none in good enough condition to justify changing out one decent one for one that's only marginally better. When I needed a replacement for my 68 I was literally days away from sending mine in for a $400.00 re-chrome when I located a near perfect one for $250.00. It has only one tiny area of damage in the area where the jack fits. Before that I had looked at dozens of them for $50.00 or $100.00 that were described as very good, but had dents in the point and pitted or hazed chrome. |
