so the best bet is to go with a quadrajet..I just figured it wouldnt hurt to use one of those two. the pontiac manifolds from edelbrock arent so shabby..actually been looking into them they have figures on them only its for a poncho 400 but fits on all the other blocks..hey dont knock wall mart..I used to love going there when i lived in the country..then again..that was the only place to go lol...

Edelbrock intakes with fit all Pontiac 326-455 from '65 to '81 except 301. Got a Performer intake out of the junkyard today for $50. They are out there, check ebay too.

Its the local recycle center. I get lucky with stuff every now and then. I got a pair of 6Xs out of there a few months back. Other yard right next door had a pair of Flowmaster 50s already removed from a car sitting near there rims and tires. $10 for the pair.

I think that a demon would work just fine on a edelbrock intake..i dont think it would be too much for the engine. i DONT KNOW IF A BIG A 389 IS CONSIDERED A SMALL ENGINE FOR PONTIAC BUT IT WOULD BE CONSIDERED BIG FOR CHEVY. a 750 ROAD DEMON I THINK WOULD BE A NICE ADDITION. ALSO..WOULD I HAVE TO CHANGE DIFFERENTIAL CASES IF I DECIDED TO PUT A BIGGER GEAR IN, WHATS THE HIGHEST I CAN GO WITHOUT CHANGING CASES..AND HOW MUCH WOULD IT COST TO GET THE CONVERTABLE TOP MATERIAL PUT BACK ON.
