I am possibly purchasing a 68-69 LeMans Sport Coupe that is in fair shape with some rust problems. I want to use it as a fun summer cruiser rather than a show/drag car.

I have been scouring the internet looking for information about these cars and have found very little information that deals with these cars and a ton of information about it's cousin models that are much more popular. I could use some general information about these cars, vendors for replacement parts (floor boards). If anyone could help me find this information I would be appreciative. Thanks.

The LeMans/Tempest & Custom S (69 only) all share major compontents with the GTO.
Except for hoods the bodies were identical.
69 GTO had unique rear side marker lights, both 68 & 69 had unique tail lights.
The GTO's endura front bumper was not available on the LeMans etc..
Inside emblems were different.
Of course the engine line up was leaning toward smaller, 350's and 6 cyl in other than GTO's but all could be had with manual or auto transmissions and posi rears.
Get some GTO catalogs and you will be able to find most if not all you need.

In 1968 you could order a chrome bumper on the GTO,but it was not from a LeMans and was made differently to fit the GTO grills. In 1971-72 you could order the GTO Endura front bumper and GTO hood on the LeMans!
