I just received my grill surrounds for a 67 GTO from PY today. I am haveing trouble installing them. Can't get all the holes lined up on the header panel. The tabs on the top are stopping it from going up. I bought the car with the frontend apart. I think somthing is wrong with the header panel. Has anyone had any problems with these reprodution parts?
Thanks Mike S |

Mike ,
I put a set in my 67 last year and they fit well . They are tight going in , but with a little tweaking they fit real nice . I also installed a couple of sets in customers cars with no problems . You may have a bent header panel .

Mike,
These grille surrounds are being made with the exact same tooling that GM used and have the same dimensions as the original parts. Steve Ames obtained the GM tooling and is having these made. This is one reproduction that is truly identical to the original I would agree with Jim that you have a header panel that is out of whack. Best wishes, Bob |
