I am looking at buying a Liberty Blue 69 Judge. I have the PHS documentation etc etc, but want to know how rare is this color?
What are some of the more rare colors for the 69 Judge? How does this affect the value of the car? |

69 Judges which are not Carosel Red (orange) can be worth up to 5% more than their orange counterparts. This is assuming this non-orange color is desirable. I had the opportunity to buy a brown 69 Judge convertible W/ tan interior-UGLY. Libery Blue is probably the second most common 69 Judge color and is desirable.
70 Judges which are not Polar White or Obit Orange may be slightly more valuable. 70's were produced in much more colors than 69's. This info is based upon person observation. I know of no color production info. |

I think the Liberty Blue is the sharpest looking color for the '69 Judge!I've seen 1 Burgundy Judge, and several Verdoro Green ones. The Starlight Black and Matador Red are pretty rare to see IMHO.I'll see if I can find any info on how many were built in certain colors.P.S. I have a 1981 Car Exchange magazine with '69 Judge on the cover in what looks like a Goldenrod Yellow maybe?

There is a "butternut Yellow?" 69 Judge Conv in MA near me for sale. They are asking $44K for it. I wish I had the money.

Well... I don't know if it is authentic or not, but there is a '69 Judge on ebay at present that had a fire inside it. By a fluke, I just recieved an e-mail string of a buyer who apparently ran the VIN with PHS which supports the car was one of the 108 Judges originally produced. I've not seen the PHS line sheet myself...I am just reporting something that came up in an e-mail, with the suggestion that you check it out.

I currently own a 69 Limelight Green
RAIII Judge. I haven't seen any others in this color. About ten years ago I owned a 70 Atoll Blue Judge. That was a pretty color, but the car was rough. It seems that Midnight Green and Verdoro Green are the most popular Greens, and Limelight Green is uncommon. |

A friend of mine owns a '69 Limelight Green 4 speed Judge in East Tennessee. I am partial to Atoll Blue '70 GT0's myself.
I tried to buy a '69 Palladium Silver Judge last year but the price was just too steep. [This message has been edited by 68poncho (edited 04-11-2001).]

I owned a Burgundy 69 Judge 10 years ago that got hit hard in the rear right quarter. I sold it as I didn't have the means to repair it at the time.
Still kicking myself as that car was loaded with options! Don |
