I own a 1966 421HO that is all stock and I would like to keep it at least looking all orginal from the outside. In the past I have added 1.65 roller tip rockers to my past pontiacs with great results. do I have to re-drill the studs to add these. What options do I have? Don't want to mess with the heads of I don't have to. Any hope??

You can use 1.65 rockers, BUT you run the risk of pulling out your pressed in rocker studs. After 35+ years I wouldn't do it without converting to screw in studs. We stock studs with a 1/2" thread on the bottom and 7/16 tops for this application.

I guess I'm stuck. I just want to improve the performance a little w/o really making drastic changes and keeping the originality. Thanks!
